Camp Givah
Camp Givah
Camp Givah is located on 250 acres in the scenic Helderberg Mountains, 20 miles from Albany. The camp was founded in 1959 by the late Shraga Arian, a nationally renowned Jewish educator. Situated amid rolling hills, woods, streams and a private lake campers encounter an authentic Jewish cultural and eductional experience at the camp. Through music, art, nature, sports, cooking, dancing, swimming, boating, electives and overnights, campers and staff build enduring relationships in a nurturing Jewish environment that last a lifetime! Camp Givah features a large recreation hall, playground, swimming pool, athletic fields, arts and crafts building, a Gan (3-5 year olds) building, lakefront water sports, and a Kosher kitchen.
