POST-SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIP

TEMPLE ISRAEL MERIT AWARD PROGRAM
FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION
ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-25

Dear Applicant:
Temple Israel appreciates the dedication of students who continue their Jewish education beyond high school. Merit awards toward approved courses in college are available to students who meet the following criteria:
1.   Are Temple Israel regular members in good standing or are children (25 years of age or younger) of Temple Israel regular members in good standing;
2.   Are students enrolled in a degree program; and
3. Take at least one Jewish education course of 3 or more credits during the 2024-25 academic year, or have taken one Jewish education course of 3 or more credits during 2023-24 academic year and did not already receive an award from Temple Israel for that academic year.
4. If the course taken is different than the one initially submitted and approved, the student must submit a description of the substituted course to the Committee for a new approval prior to requesting scholarship payment.
5. There can be only one higher education scholarship awarded per applicant per academic year.

NOTE: AWARD RECIPIENTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS WHEN THEY SEND THE COMMITTEE PROOF THAT THEY ARE ENROLLED IN A DEGREE GRANTING PROGRAM AND HAVE SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED THE APPROVED COURSE.

Applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
