Look here for lectures and classes available to you from amongst the leading institutions of Jewish scholarship including the Jewish Theological Seminary, American Jewish University, and the Schechter Institutes, fountainheads of the Conservative Movement. There are many cultural Jewish experiences as well--music and dance for example. You will find these opportunities here.
Some of these lectures and presentations are free of charge – a gift of Jewish learning from these remarkable institutions of Jewish scholarship. Others are free to you as members of Temple Israel with associated costs absorbed by the congregation and our Jewish Learning Center, recognizing the unique opportunity to learn from some of the foremost scholars in their fields of Jewish study. Lastly, some of the learning opportunities shared here have a cost which helps support the sponsoring institution and sustains their abiding commitment to Jewish learning at the highest level.
