NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDEES AND USERS OF
TEMPLE ISRAEL SERVICES AND FACILITIES 

As a condition of attending Temple Israel and as a condition of using its facilities, you assume all risk of being in a public place during the COVID 19 pandemic. By attending Temple Israel, and by using its facilities, you agree that the synagogue and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors and representatives shall not be liable and are not liable for any illness that may be attributed or that could be attributed from your attendance at and from your use of the facilities of Temple Israel and that you waive all claims with respect thereto. 
 


  1. At present, attendance is only admitted by pre-registration and is limited to 50.  Those who have not registered ahead of time are unfortunately unable to join at this time. 
  2. All attendees (ages 2 and up) must wear a mask or face shield at all times. 
  3. Prior to entering the building, please see a member of  Temple Israel Staff to have your temperature checked. (Temperature Check Area is in the vestibule)
  4. Upon entering the building, attendees should use hand sanitizer and try to avoid touching your face and mask. If your mask needs to be adjusted, please use hand sanitizer after touching your face/mask. 
  5. Members of a single family household are asked to sit together. If you do not attend with your household you are asked to sit socially distanced from others.
  6. Anyone who is over the age of 65, immunocompromised or has another condition which increases the risk of severe illness with COVID-19 is strongly urged to continue to daven at home and to consult with your physician to determine whether it is a good idea to join a minyan. 
  7. We encourage all attendees to bring their own siddur, chumash and tallit.  If you do not have a siddur or chumash, please place the ones you used in the location indicated. 
  8. A cleaning plan for high-touch areas is in place. 
  9. No congregating before or after services 
  10. All attendees must maintain social distancing (6 feet) while on premises and when entering/exiting the building 
  11. No touching or kissing of mezuzot or torahs at the present time.
  12. Kiddushes (public or private) and Seudah Shleesheet will not be held until further notice. 

We are very excited to announce that the leadership of Temple Israel, in concert with our Medical & Health Committee, has agreed to reopen the Synagogue for certain programs.

Please complete the below registration in order to be able to attend our services/programs.

Registration must be completed at least 24 hours in advance ( no earlier than 7 days).


Under the current circumstances, you are not yet eligible to attend an in-person event at Temple Israel. We appreciate your wish to join us and thank you for your interest.  We look forward to being able to have you join us very shortly!
